Christantus Uche Fuels Dominant Crystal Palace Win at Irish Side Shelbourne.
Despite entering their first-ever continental campaign, Oliver Glasner's side are adapting very quickly. Without star players like striker Jean-Philippe Mateta and defender Daniel Muñoz, the Eagles departed Dublin with a commanding result that all but guarantees them a place in the Europa Conference League qualifying rounds.
A further victory in their next fixture against Finnish KuPS should be sufficient to secure direct entry to the last 16, especially after a previous setback against Strasbourg.
Squad Members Seize the Opportunity
This occasion offered a chance for some of Palace's fringe talent to shine. Christantus Uche, in only his second start since joining on loan from Getafe, notched the account with a clinical goal. Striker Eddie Nketiah contributed a another, scoring for the second game in succession.

Following the break, coach Oliver Glasner took the chance to withdraw several players like Kamada and Wharton. Substitute Romain Esse almost scoring with his first touch, but saw his effort blocked.
Esse was desperately unlucky later on, seeing one shot strike off each posts before being gathered on the line. Uche then missed a sitter of a chance, indicating there is still room for improvement in his game.
A solitary concern for Palace was a second-half knock to Justin Devenny, who was forced off. This paved the way for 17-year-old striker Benji Casey to earn his senior debut, rounding off an otherwise positive evening for the visiting side.
